Confluence Integration with Iris

Overview

Integrating Iris with Confluence enables seamless collaboration and document management. You can directly upload, retrieve, and manage your RFPs and Security Questionnaires stored in Confluence, speeding up your workflow.

Note: You need the Atlassian "Manage Integrations" permission in order to set up this integration.

Setting Up Confluence Integration

Note: You need the Atlassian "Manage Integrations" permission in order to set up this integration.

  1. Log into Iris: Use your credentials to access your Iris account.

  2. Select Settings from the left-hand menu, then go to the Integrations tab.

  3. Locate the Confluence option and select Connect.

  4. Authenticate with Atlassian:

    • You will be redirected to a Atlassian/Confluence login page.

    • Enter your account credentials.

  5. Allow Iris the necessary permissions to access your Confluence account.

  6. Select the Workspaces/Pages you'd like to be accessible

One Time Scrape

  1. Within your Knowledge Map, select Add from Integrations.

  2. Select Confluence from the dropdown.

  3. Browse your connected folders and select the desired documents (you can upload up to 10 at a time).

  4. Apply relevant tags.

  5. Apply an expiration date (optional)

  6. Hit Submit to bring the file into Iris.


FAQ

Can I connect multiple Confluence accounts to Iris?

Currently, Iris supports one Confluence account at a time. You can disconnect the integration and reconnect with a different Confluence account, if desired.

Are Confluence subfolders accessible in Iris?

Yes, all subfolders within a connected folder are accessible unless restricted by permissions.
