How to Connect SafeBase to Iris

Connecting SafeBase to Iris takes just a couple of minutes. All you need is a SafeBase API key, and Iris handles the rest.

Before you start

You’ll need a SafeBase API key. If you don’t have one, reach out to your IT team (or whoever manages SafeBase at your company) and ask them to generate one for you.

Not sure what to say? You can send them something like this:

Hi! I’m setting up our SafeBase integration in Iris. Could you generate a SafeBase API key for me? Thank you!

Connecting SafeBase

  1. Log in to Iris and go to Settings.

  2. Find the SafeBase integration.

  3. Paste your SafeBase API key into the field.

  4. Click Connect.

That’s it! Once connected, SafeBase is linked to your Iris workspace.

What happens next

Once SafeBase is connected, your data syncs to Iris automatically. There’s nothing else you need to do. Any updates made in SafeBase will flow into Iris on their own, so your content always stays up to date.

Troubleshooting

The connection didn’t work? Double check that the full API key was copied with no extra spaces at the beginning or end, then try again.
