The Iris Google Drive Integration allows you to allows you to upload documents from Google Drive into your Knowledge Map in Iris

Requirements

Each user must set up this integration individually to access the files within their Drive.

To set up the integration, you need:

  • Access to your Iris account.

  • A Google account with access to the files you want to use in Iris.


Integration Steps

Step 1: Access Iris Integration Settings

  1. Log in to app.heyiris.ai.

  2. Select Settings from the left-hand menu, then go to the Integrations tab.

Step 2: Enable Google Drive and Addon Toggles

  1. Locate the Google Drive module within the integrations list.

  2. Ensure both the Google Drive and Google Spreadsheet Addon toggles are turned on.

  3. Click Connect

Step 4: Sign in to Google and Grant Permissions

  1. Sign in with your Google account.

  2. Grant Iris the following permissions:

    • See and download all your Google Drive files.

    • See, edit, create, and delete all your Google Sheets spreadsheets.

  3. Click Allow to complete the connection.

Note: The integration only adds files into the knowledge map when executed by the user. No data is referenced continuously.
