SharePoint Integration with Iris

Overview

Integrating Iris with SharePoint enables seamless collaboration and document management. You can directly upload, retrieve, and manage your RFPs and Security Questionnaires stored in SharePoint, speeding up your workflow.

Setting Up SharePoint Integration

  1. Log into Iris: Use your credentials to access your Iris account.

  2. Select Settings from the left-hand menu, then go to the Integrations tab.

  3. Locate the SharePoint option and select Connect.

  4. Enter Tenant ID:

    • In the Connect to SharePoint dialog, enter your Microsoft Tenant ID in the field provided. (see Microsoft documentation for how to find your Microsoft Tenant ID).

    • Click Connect.

  5. Authenticate with Microsoft:

    • You will be redirected to a Microsoft login page.

    • Enter your Microsoft account credentials.

    • Allow Iris the necessary permissions to access your SharePoint account.

Note: Ensure that your Microsoft account has the necessary permissions to grant access to SharePoint folders.


Using SharePoint in Iris

One Time Scrape

  1. Within your Knowledge Map File Manager, select Add from Integrations.

  2. Select SharePoint from the dropdowwn.

  3. Browse your connected folders and select the desired documents (you can upload up to 10 at a time).

  4. Apply relevant tags.

  5. Hit Submit to bring the file into Iris for processing.


FAQ

Can I connect multiple SharePoint accounts to Iris?

Currently, Iris supports one SharePoint account at a time. You can disconnect the integration and reconnect with a different Sharepoint account, if desired.

Are SharePoint subfolders accessible in Iris?

Yes, all subfolders within a connected folder are accessible unless restricted by permissions.

Does Iris sync changes made in SharePoint?
